This Legal Notice sets out the identification particulars of the operator of truzh.pk and governs access to and use of this website. It is published in satisfaction of the disclosure obligations applicable to e-commerce operators under the e-Commerce Policy of Pakistan, 2019, and the Companies Act, 2017.
Operator of the service
truzh.pk is operated by TRUZH (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED, a single member company limited by shares, incorporated on 16 December 2025 under the Companies Act, 2017 (XIX of 2017), and registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. Distinct operator
TRUZH (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED is the operator of truzh.pk only. It is not the operator of truzh.com or truzh.es, which are operated separately and disclose their own operators. Obligations arising from a User's use of truzh.pk are owed by and to TRUZH (SMC-PRIVATE) LIMITED alone.
Nature of the service
TRUZH operates a community-first, peer-to-peer marketplace enabling registered Users to list, discover, and exchange second-hand items locally. The company acts solely as an intermediary. It is not a party to any transaction concluded between Users, does not own or inspect listed items, and does not act as seller, agent, or guarantor.
Principal line of business
As recorded in the Memorandum of Association, the principal line of business of the company is to carry on the business of online shopping of consumer and other goods, internet advertising and marketing, the creation of virtual malls, stores, shops and shopping catalogues, and the provision of e-commerce services and solutions in business-to-business, business-to-consumer, and consumer-to-consumer modes, in compliance with the National e-Commerce Policy including its Code of Conduct and complaint-handling requirements.
Intellectual property
The TRUZH name, wordmark, figurative mark, interface design, and all software comprising the Platform are protected. Trade mark applications for TRUZH are filed with the Trade Marks Registry of the Intellectual Property Organization of Pakistan (IPO-Pakistan) in Class 35: application No. 852496 for the TRUZH logo mark, filed on 15 December 2025, and application No. 853912 for the TRUZH word mark, filed on 22 December 2025. Reproduction, distribution, or transformation without the express written authorisation of the company is prohibited.
Unlawful content - notice and action
Any person may notify the company of Content believed to be unlawful by writing to legal@truzh.com with the location of the Content, the reasons for the notification, and contact details for the notifying party. The company operates a complaint-handling procedure consistent with the e-Commerce Policy of Pakistan, 2019, and responds to lawful directions issued under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, and the Removal and Blocking of Unlawful Online Content Rules, 2021.
Governing law
This Legal Notice is governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The courts at Lahore, Punjab, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising in connection with it.
