TRUZH is built for trusted local trading. Verified Communities, in-app messaging and active moderation help protect you, and informed users are the strongest defence of all.

Technology, people and verified Communities working together.
Automated checks screen listings and images for prohibited items and known scam patterns.
Every report submitted by a user is reviewed by a person, who decides what action to take.
Communities require an institutional email address. Clans require administrator approval.
Never share passwords, verification codes or bank login details with anyone. TRUZH will never ask you for them. If someone does, it is a scam: report it immediately.
Scammers follow predictable patterns. Learn the red flags and you will spot them.
Pressure to continue on WhatsApp, email or phone before you have met is a red flag.
TRUZH does not process payments yet. A link asking you to "pay" or "verify" through TRUZH, or a request to pay before you have seen the item, is a scam.
An unrealistically low price for a valuable item is a common lure.
Empty profiles with no listings, photo or activity carry more risk.
"Urgent sale", "last chance", "decide now": these phrases are meant to rush you. Take your time.
TRUZH never asks for your password, identity documents, bank details or verification codes by chat or email.
Trades on TRUZH are completed face to face. With a few simple precautions, meeting in person is one of the safest ways to buy and sell second-hand.
Remember: Payment is made directly between you and the other user when you meet. TRUZH does not handle, track or refund the payment, so inspect before you pay.
The basics, done well, prevent most account takeovers.
Use a password you do not use anywhere else, ideally from a password manager.
Your email receives security alerts and verification codes.
If two-step verification is offered for your account, turn it on.
Always sign out after using a shared or public device.
Online payment on TRUZH is coming soon. Until then, buyers and sellers pay each other directly when they meet, in cash or by a transfer made on the spot.
If you have been defrauded: Contact your bank straight away, report the user to TRUZH and report the incident to the police.
Honest listings sell faster, cause fewer disputes and build your reputation.
Every user is expected to treat others with respect. Breaches may lead to removal of listings, or suspension or closure of the account, depending on their seriousness.
Available on every listing, profile and message. Reports are handled confidentially.
Stop someone from contacting you again. They are not notified.
Screenshots and message history help us investigate quickly.
For fraud, threats or other crimes, contact the police first (emergency number 15), then tell TRUZH so that we can act on the account.
Six questions to ask yourself before any meetup.
If something feels wrong, trust your instincts and report it.
