1Keep conversations on the platform
Always communicate and negotiate in TRUZH chat, and pay only in person after inspecting the item. Moving the conversation off TRUZH removes the written record of what was agreed and is the most common thread in fraud cases. If someone pressures you to move off TRUZH, treat it as a warning sign.
2Protect your personal information
Never share your full home address in public listings or messages before a sale is confirmed. Never share bank details, identity documents, or login credentials with other users. TRUZH will never ask for your password by email or message.
3Trust your instincts
If a listing, message, or user feels wrong, it probably is. Walk away from transactions that make you uncomfortable, no matter how good the deal appears. Genuine sellers and buyers understand caution and do not pressure the other party.
